In a year where the Los Angeles, Lakers seem to not be able to catch a break, their bad luck continues. After Kobe managed to fight his way through two prior injuries earlier in the game against the Golden State, Warriors, Kobe Bryant would eventually suffer a third injury in the game. This one he would not be able to play through. They are calling it a “probable” torn achilles. An MRI is scheduled for Saturday, 4/13/13 to confirm the injury. Although they are only calling it a “probable” torn achilles for now, Kobe Bryant admitted himself, in his post game interview, that he already knows that it is torn. A torn achilles would most likely keep Bryant from playing for at least a year. With this added adversity, the rest of the Lakers Team has a major challenge ahead of them. Time will tell if they will have what it takes to still make it to the playoffs without Kobe.
